Thanks to Ian for enquiring about the selections frequently off the blog. It was fun listening to all the pitches and explainations from fans from Arsenal to Real Madrid.

From here on, the journey will be about match assessments, reflections and fiery opinions (as usual). So keep reading on!

Currently, the World Cup is ending and after many lengthy discussions with several friends, I realise I must find a club to support before the qualifying rounds of the next league games begin. Why, you may ask. Simply because there are so many leagues and rounds to watch. Being a neutral fan would mean I will have to catch most of those matches to get the picture and after my near 3 week stint of World Cup, I know I will most certainly die if I keep it up.Bear in mind that I’ve never really watched any of the shortlisted teams perform (except Arsenal and Barcelona) (My memory of Liverpool and Manchester is pretty hazy.)Selection criteria is based on general club reputation (e.g. scandals or downright distasteful moves), players and their performances at World Cup (if applicable), club motto and jersey (yes, that’s kinda lame but I care.). Yah, teams from other leagues acceptable, including but not restricted to La Liga, Serie A, etc…

By the way, HVDOFTS stands for Help Valerie Decide on a Football Club to Support.
